How is this calculated?
FD maturity uses compound interest: A = P × (1 + r/n)^(n×t) where P = principal, r = annual rate, n = compounding frequency, t = tenure in years. TDS is deducted from the total interest earned. Senior citizens get an additional 0.5% interest rate.
